Overview

Join Salesforce as a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead end-to-end delivery of agentic AI solutions for strategic customers. You will own architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and set coding standards within the Agentforce platform. You’ll work with Deployment Strategists to translate customer challenges into shippable AI systems and continuously explore new AI tools. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic influence to shape product evolution and customer outcomes.

Responsabilità

- Own end-to-end build and deployment of agentic AI solutions from architecture to production handoff
- Design and ship agentic systems on the Agentforce platform with multi-agent orchestration and integration patterns
- Manage data lifecycle and model readiness across Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks
- Resolve blockers in data integration, deployment, and orchestration impacting performance
- Build and maintain agent performance dashboards and KPIs for deployment health and outcomes
- Develop proofs-of-concept and MVPs with judicious decision-making
- Create reusable playbooks and internal tooling from real customer work
- Mentor engineers via code reviews, pair sessions, and shared work




- Provide technical depth on critical deployments and surface field insights to Product/Engineering
- Collaborate with Deployment Strategist to translate business challenges into deployable AI solutions

Requisiti fondamentali

- 8+ years of software engineering and delivery experience with end-to-end ownership of scalable systems
- Expert in at least one language: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex; proficient in others
- Experience integrating LLMs into production and using LangChain or LlamaIndex; applied prompt engineering and responsible AI practices
- Deep experience in data modeling, processing, and analytics with Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, or Databricks
- Strong Salesforce platform expertise: Agentforce, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce APIs
- Entrepreneurial, fast-delivery mindset with ability to distinguish when fast is appropriate
- Mentored technical talent and created reusable assets (frameworks, playbooks, tooling)
- Clear, credible communication with engineers, architects, and executives
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and professional fluency in Italian and English
- Computer Science degree or related
