Overview

In this role you support the Services Engineering team to improve maintenance readiness, lifecycle management and service concepts for signalling solutions. You will contribute to documentation, spare parts strategies, and training, while collaborating with design and international teams to ensure maintainability. The role offers exposure to advanced railway signalling technologies and international projects, with focus on continuous improvement and support across the product lifecycle. You will help drive reliable, maintainable systems in a global context.

Responsabilità

- Define and improve maintenance documentation and procedures
- Prepare maintenance manuals, service documentation and training material
- Support spare parts strategies and maintenance concepts
- Contribute to customer and internal training readiness activities
- Ensure maintainability requirements are captured during project execution
- Perform maintainability demonstrations in Alstom Lab and on field
- Support lifecycle management for signalling products and subsystems
- Analyze component obsolescence and identify replacement strategies




- Collaborate with Design Engineering on technical solutions and product evolution
- Assess hardware/software changes impact on maintenance activities
- Support international technical assistance teams on signalling maintenance topics
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Improve maintenance practices and field feedback processes
- Support RAM data collection and analysis
- Support preparation of service and maintenance offers
- Analyze customer technical requirements and contribute to maintenance concepts and cost estimations
- Support development of innovative service solutions
- Participate in tenders by analyzing technical requirements and documentation
- Collaborate to improve diagnostic tools and maintainability requirements
- Work on projects involving cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity

Requisiti fondamentali

- Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation, Transportation or similar)
- Strong interest in railway signalling systems
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work in an international and multidisciplinary environment
- Good communication skills in English
