Overview As a Regional Account Manager for the Public Sector, you drive cybersecurity transformation for government-related clients. You will build executive relationships, orchestrate cross-functional teams, and promote Fortinet solutions to achieve growth while ensuring customer success. You’ll navigate regulatory considerations across Italy and Europe and lead proposals and RFI/RFP responses. Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet and exceed sales targets Drive adoption of Fortinet products and services within assigned public sector accounts Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers and partners in public administration Coordinate internal teams to deliver proposals, RFI/RFP responses,



and statements of work Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices aligned with Italian and European regulations Serve as lead contact for information flow to and from executive management Maximize opportunities while delivering value-added solutions to public sector customers Maintain accurate pipeline and sales forecast Collaborate with partner channel managers, technical sales engineers, and consulting professionals Travel within territory as required to pursue opportunities

Requisiti fondamentali

Proven experience in technology sales, preferably cybersecurity or networking Experience selling to public administration customers (education, healthcare, local government) Strong knowledge of IT security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, antivirus, IDS/IPS) Track record of achieving quota and career stability Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences Goal-oriented mindset with strong business acumen and leadership capabilities presentation negotiation communication firewalls VPNs antivirus
