Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring high team morale. /p /li lipbPeople Management Mentorship: /b Actively invest in the growth of your team members through regular 1:1s, actionable feedback, performance reviews, and identifying stretch opportunities to help them advance their careers. /p /li lipbDrive delivery and technical execution: /b Translate product and business goals into a clear, predictable technical roadmap. Optimise agile workflows, unblock your team, and ensure reliable execution of ambitious projects. /p /li lipbCollaborate across domains: /b Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineering Managers to align on priorities, manage dependencies, and define shared engineering standards. /p /li lipbReport up and communicate clearly: /b Keep leadership informed on team progress, risks, and blockers, effectively translating technical complexities into business-relevant terms. /p /li /ul pWhile you won't be coding day-to-day, your btechnical background /b will be crucial to partner with your Senior and Staff Engineers,

Together with your senior technical leads, you will ensure the team's technical health while taking ownership of end-to-end deliverables /p h3Who we’re looking for /h3 pThis role needs someone passionate about guiding engineers, building high-performing teams, and taking ownership of end-to-end technical delivery. /p ul lipbEngineering Leadership Experience: /b 5+ years in backend engineering, with at least 2+ years managing a squad in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. /p /li lipbPeople-First Mindset: /b Strong empathy and coaching skills, with a proven track record of mentoring engineers and fostering an inclusive, collaborative team culture. /p /li lipbBackend Expertise Cloud Architecture: /b Strong command of distributed systems and API design.
