We place them at the heart of what we do, providing challenging opportunities to develop within a great team in a supportive environment that allows them to reach their full potential. /p /brh3Key Responsibilities of the Role /h3 /brul /brliEnsure compliance with contract obligations and provide advice and monitoring of same to construction team /li /brliAbility to identify potential commercial risks and ensure prompt reporting of same to management. /li /brliCompile monthly progress applications and ensure they are inclusive of accurate remeasure, site variations, dayworks or claims /li /brliProcurement – operational procurement activity and contract support, in conjunction with the Procurement Department /li /brliManage subcontractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations, and final account.
/li /brliManaging and forecasting of turnover and cash flow of the projects /li /brliReviewing and commercial management of all projects, to ensure accurate and reliable reporting /li /brliIdentify, analyse, and report on trends within the Business Projects /li /brliProvide Data and analysis of issues risks as required by Management. /li /brliImprove and implement best practice commercial processes and accurate budgeting /li /brliLead, support, and provide coaching to commercial team members in best practice quantity surveying and cost management methods. /li /brliReview all incoming correspondence from Employers, Design Team and /or subcontractors, to identify contractually critical items and to initiate replies /li /brliTo ensure Construction Team is adhering to all Contractual Requirements and providing advice and monitoring of same /li /brliEnsure reporting is in line with Group Policies highlight exceptions to Management /li /brliAll other duties associated with this role /li /br /ul /brh3Essential Criteria for the Role /h3 /brul /brliRelevant university qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Commercial Management, or equivalent level of education (e.g. engineering) combined with extensive commercial experience. /li /brliMinimum 5+ years’ experience post qualification in a big onsite environment (Contract values €200m+) /li /brliSolid experience with large civil and ground works preferred. /li /brliData centre experience also desired. /li /brliAbility to work both individually and as part of a team. /li /brliExcellent IT Skills (SAP experience is an advantage). /li /brliExcellent communication and organisation skills. /li /brliMust have excellent English language skills. /li /br /ul /brpbMercury is an equal opportunities employer. /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
