p We are seeking a Lead Base Software Systems Engineer to support VHIL labs, production, and pre-production plant setups. This role requires broad systems expertise in embedded software platforms on microcontroller with hands-on debugging across Bootloaders, Operating Systems, AUTOSAR Middleware stacks Communication, Diagnostics, Flashing tools FOTA processes. The engineer will act as a first responder in production environments, driving rapid issue resolution and ensuring system readiness for vehicle integration. brVerifichi che le sue competenze e la sua esperienza corrispondano ai requisiti di questo ruolo, quindi si candidi con il suo CV qui sotto. brpb Key Responsibilities: /b /pp· Debug and triage embedded software issues in Plant, VHIL, and Production setups. /pp· Travel as required to production plants, test facilities to support on-site issue resolution. /pp· Support system bring-up and troubleshooting of bootloaders, AUTOSAR OS, HWIO, COM, DCM, MEM stacks. /pp· Automotive Ethernet and SOME-IP. /pp· Support diagnostic flashing processes (UDS-based flashing, DoIP-based flashing, plant reprogramming workflows). /pp· Collaborate with FOTA teams to debug Firmware Over-The-Air update mechanisms, including campaign execution, partial updates, and rollback handling. /pp· Develop and maintain tools/scripts for log capture, automated debugging, and flashing workflows. /pp· Ensure comprehensive diagnostic coverage (UDS, DoIP, SOME/IP, OBD-II) and plant readiness.



/pp· Collaborate with Base SW, Integration, Cockpit Infotainment, Connectivity, and Plant teams for root-cause analysis and resolution. /pp· Document and share root causes, workarounds, and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement. xrdbqlu /ppb Qualifications: /b /pulli Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related Engineering field /lili5+ years of experience working in embedded software development with C and/or C++ /lili Fluent in English and Italian /lili Ability to work collaboratively and technically lead a diverse team which is distributed globally. /lili Excellent knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR concepts, architecture, and specifications /lili Experience configuring and integrating AUTOSAR basic software stack including OS, COM, DIAG, MEM. /lili Experience with configuring MCAL, developing I/O Hardware Abstraction and ability to interpret hardware schematic /lili Experience with Multicore architecture and Functional Safety concepts /lili Experience with Cybersecurity concepts, configuration of HSM and implementation of message authentication /lili Experience with Compilers, Emulators, Debuggers, and other software development tools /li /ulpb Preferred Qualifications: /b /pulli Master of Science degree from an ABET accredited university /li /ul p This contract will be for 12 months /p /p
