ABOUT THE ROLE: brWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Supplier Quality Senior Specialist to join our organization and support the development of new vehicle programs and engine systems. brIn this role, you will ensure the quality and robustness of supplier manufacturing processes for direct materials, working closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Platform Teams, and Suppliers throughout the product development lifecycle. You will play a key role in driving supplier performance, ensuring compliance with IVECO Group standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the supply base. Key Responsibilities: brLead supplier quality activities for new product development programs, ensuring compliance with APQP and PPAP requirements. brCollaborate with Purchasing and Engineering teams during supplier sourcing and industrialization phases. brAssess and approve supplier manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with IVECO Group quality targets and industry standards. brManage supplier quality issues affecting production plants, pre-delivery vehicles, and field performance. brConduct process audits (PA) and supplier assessments (PPAP) to verify process capability, stability, and compliance. brDrive root cause analysis and corrective action implementation using structured problem-solving methodologies.



brMonitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base. brPromote best practice sharing and quality culture development among suppliers. Requirements: brYou are an experienced quality professional with a strong technical background in manufacturing and supplier development. You thrive in a cross-functional and international environment, combining analytical thinking with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Required Qualifications brMaster's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field. brPrevious experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier Quality, or Product Engineering within the automotive, industrial, or transportation sectors. brFluent English, both written and spoken. brMS Office Suite knowledge brAvailability for regular business travel across Italy and Europe. brStrong ability to manage multiple priorities Technical Knowledge brQuality Process Excellence: brAPQP and PPAP methodologies brQuality tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FTA, Kaizen)brStructured problem solving and continuous improvement brBasic knowledge of DFMEA and PFMEA brStatistical methods for process capability analysis brManufacturing Product Knowledge: brMetallic and mechanical components for engine systems brCNC machining processes (turning, milling, grinding, tapping, cutting)brMetal surface treatments brInspection and measurement techniques (CMM, micrometers, calipers, hardness testing, spectrometry)brGDT interpretation and technical drawing reading brBasic metallurgy and foundry processes brPreferred Qualifications: brThe following experiences will be considered a strong advantage: brSteel and aluminum component manufacturing. brIron and aluminum casting and foundry technologies. brEngine systems development and industrialization. brNon-destructive testing (radiography, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, dye penetrant inspection). xrdbqlu brLevel II certification in non-destructive testing methods.
