Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client's logistics challenges. brThe Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining and administering computer networks and related environments, as well as supporting enterprise CCTV and Access Control systems. brThey provide hands-on and remote help-desk support, troubleshoot network, CCTV, and access control issues, and perform upgrades, installations, and system configurations as needed. brThe Network Administrator collaborates with IT, Facilities, and Security teams to ensure the reliable operation of network infrastructure and physical security systems, aligning with business objectives. brThe technical expertise of the Network Administrator will be key in documenting network and security infrastructure, ensuring compliance with corporate security standards, and managing vendor relationships. brThis role involves travel to remote sites to support network, CCTV, and Access Control, installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. brAs this role is assigned to a customer-controlled, security-sensitive environment, the position requires compliance with applicable customer security, confidentiality, site-access and information-security requirements. brMaintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. brPerform hands-on and remote help-desk duties for clients such as troubleshooting desktops, printers, cables, cameras, access control devices, and any other tasks assigned. brPerform network infrastructure upgrades, installations, and configurations as needed. brInstall, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IP-based CCTV and Access Control systems, including cameras, NVRs/VMS platforms, door controllers, card readers, and associated network infrastructure. brSupport the deployment of CCTV and Access Control solutions for new office and warehouse projects, ensuring compliance with corporate security standards. brCollaborate with IT, Facilities, and Security teams to ensure the reliable operation of network infrastructure, CCTV, and Access Control systems. brProvide technical support to end-users and resolve issues in a timely manner. brDocument network infrastructure, CCTV, and Access Control systems, and keep network diagrams and security system documentation up to date. brEnsure network security and compliance with company policies and procedures.



brCoordinate with vendors and external service providers for the installation, maintenance, and support of networking, CCTV, and Access Control systems. brTravel to remote sites for network, CCTV, and Access Control installations, maintenance, or troubleshooting purposes. brComply with applicable Crane and customer information-security, physical-security, confidentiality and site-access policies and procedures. brMaintain appropriate confidentiality and security in relation to information, systems, CCTV, access-control infrastructure and credentials accessed in the course of the role. brPromptly report suspected information-security, physical-security or access-control incidents in accordance with applicable incident-reporting procedures. brSITE ACCESS AND BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENTS brThis position is based at an Amazon-controlled facility in Milan and is subject to the security and site-access requirements applicable to personnel assigned to that facility. brAs part of the site-access process, the successful candidate will be required to participate in background screening initiated by Amazon through its designated background screening provider. Completion of the applicable screening and satisfaction of Amazon's site-access requirements are conditions of assignment to the Amazon facility. brAny background screening and associated processing of personal data will be carried out in accordance with applicable Italian law and data protection requirements, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Italian Data Protection Code. Candidates will be provided with the relevant privacy information regarding the screening process and the processing of their personal data. brUnderstanding of all aspects of the design and implementation of corporate networking and systems infrastructure, including VPN, SD-WAN, network connectivity, Internet access, email, servers, and related technologies. brDemonstrated proficiency with LAN switches, including VLANs, segmentation, and Power over Ethernet (PoE). brExperience with Wireless Access Points and wireless security protocols such as EAP with RADIUS.



brAble to troubleshoot network issues, including connectivity, routing, firewall, DNS, and higher-level protocols. brExperience with the design, installation, configuration, and support of enterprise IP-based CCTV and Access Control systems. brKnowledge of CCTV technologies, including IP cameras, NVRs, Video Management Systems (VMS), video storage, and retention best practices. brKnowledge of Access Control technologies, including door controllers, card readers, credentials, door hardware, and system administration. brUnderstanding of structured cabling, fibre optics, PoE, UPS systems, and their integration with physical security solutions. brFamiliarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques. brExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service-oriented approach. brExperience with infrastructure components such as servers, storage systems, and virtualization technologies is preferred. brMicrosoft Windows operating systems. brProficient with backup and restore technologies and best practices. brExperience managing third-party vendors and contractors delivering network and physical security projects. brJob may require extended sitting or standing and use of standard office equipment. brEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE brBachelor's degree in Network Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. brProven experience working as a Network Administrator or in a similar role. brProven experience deploying, configuring, and supporting enterprise IP-based CCTV and Access Control systems, including IP cameras, Video Management Systems (VMS), Network Video Recorders (NVRs), door controllers, and card access systems. brIn-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewalls. brExperience with infrastructure components such as servers, storage systems, and virtualization technologies. brExperience integrating CCTV and Access Control systems with enterprise network infrastructure, including PoE switching, structured cabling, fibre connectivity, and UPS systems. brFortinet experience a plus. brExperience configuring Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking with 802.1Q (VLANs), 802.3af/at (PoE), 802.1D (STP), BGP, OSPF, and LACP. brWhere recruitment support is required, we will engage trusted partners through a formal written agreement.
