As a Senior Expert Strategic Sourcing (MEP), you play a key role in strengthening Exyte's regional supply chain capabilities across Italy. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies for Mechanical, Electrical and Process (MEP) equipment, work packages, and installation scopes—ensuring competitive commercial outcomes and reliable project execution.
Acting at the interface of engineering, construction, procurement, and project management, you contribute to building a resilient supplier base and advancing Exyte's delivery excellence.
Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional MEP sourcing strategies (e.g. HVAC, piping, electrical, instrumentation, installation services) aligned with global category management
Establish and negotiate Master Framework Agreements (MFAs) with key suppliers and subcontractors
Build and manage a high-performing regional supplier base, including OEMs and installation partners
Drive sourcing initiatives to improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), lead times, and project execution reliability
Lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), including performance reviews and risk escalation
Support project teams with preferred supplier lists, cost inputs, and sourcing strategies during proposals and execution
Identify opportunities to optimize sourcing models (e.g. direct procurement vs. subcontracting)
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, safety (EHS), quality and regulatory requirements
Provide regional market intelligence (pricing, capacity, lead times) and contribute to global category strategies




Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Construction, Procurement, and Project Management teams
Show Your Expertise
7–10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing / procurement within MEP, EPC, life sciences, semiconductor, data centers, or similar industries
Strong track record in developing sourcing strategies, negotiating commercial agreements, and delivering measurable value
Solid understanding of MEP equipment, installation methods, and construction project environments
Experience managing suppliers and subcontractors, including performance and risk management
Strong analytical skills (cost modelling, benchmarking, supplier evaluation)
Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or Business; certifications are a plus
Fluent in English and Italian (min. C1 Level)
The salary range for this position is between € 71'400 and € 85'000 gross per year (full-time). The exact salary will be determined within this range based on objective and transparent criteria, including role scope, qualifications, and relevant professional experience.
