Overview

In this role you will write new and renewal property business for a defined client range, shaping risk selection and profitability. You’ll work closely with brokers and clients to deliver a high-quality underwriting service that aligns with the business plan and portfolio growth. You’ll manage relationships, support risk management discussions, and monitor premiums and exposures to sustain performance. This is a regulated role with emphasis on stakeholder collaboration and delivering market-leading client experiences.

Responsabilità

- Review submissions (applications, policy wording, reports) to assess risk and determine pricing
- Calculate risk premiums considering sector risk, reinsurance, and costs to ensure profitability
- Advise and service clients on insurance and risk management matters




- Manage relationships to enable cross-selling and client retention
- Ensure timely implementation of new and renewed accounts to quality standards
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of financial exposure and premium income
- Maintain awareness of claims and contribute to settlement input

Requisiti fondamentali

- Previous underwriting experience in property insurance
- English and Italian language proficiency
- Understanding of stakeholders' needs and ability to negotiate and align
- Analytical thinking and data-driven decision making
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
