OverviewIn this role, you define structural solutions for space mission vehicles using metallic and composite materials. You analyze requirements at the structure subsystem level and translate them into design definitions. You will select materials, processes and mechanical parts to achieve mass-efficient, launch-ready structures, supported by FEM analyses and test articles. You will contribute to the structural development process and guide junior engineers, within a cross-functional space program.ResponsabilitàDesign spacecraft structures for modules and satellites using aerospace materialsDefine and size structural parts and interfaces via hand calculations or preliminary FEMSelect materials and surface treatments; define tolerancesReview CAD models and drawingsPerform FEM analyses using FEMAP, Patran,
