We are looking for a **Technical Service Specialist** to join our Technical Service team and support our customers with high-quality, reliable technical service. ### **Primary Objective** The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing planned maintenance activities, hardware and software upgrades (TSBs), providing backup first-line (Level 1) service, and supporting instrument installations and deinstallations. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Provide **first-line technical service** to Abbott Ambassadors (service interventions requiring less than 4 hours of labor) * Schedule and perform **planned maintenance (PM)** activities * Execute **hardware and software upgrades** (Technical Service Bulletins – TSBs) * Support **instrument installations and deinstallations** * Contribute to achieving **customer satisfaction (NPS)**, service KPIs,
and the district’s economic growth and profitability ### **Education** * Bachelor’s / Engineering degree in **medical, electrical, mechanical engineering or medical technology** preferred or equivalent experience required * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills * Strong experience using **analytical tools and technical software** ### **Impact of the Role** This position plays a key role in ensuring instrument reliability, service quality, and customer satisfaction through effective maintenance, upgrades, and technical support activities. **Abbott is an equal opportunity employer.
