Countersubject is looking for a full-time Strategist to join our team in Milan. This role sits at the core of how we think, pitch, and build projects, contributing to the agency's strategy function while shaping the way we approach briefs, new and existing.

The position blends tout-court cultural awareness, translating complexity into insights, and strategic execution across a broad spectrum of client and self-initiated projects—from sportswear to luxury, art, and culture, in Europe and abroad.

The Strategist will work closely with Countersubject's leadership and collaborate directly with internal and external teams to shape ideas from first insight to final delivery.



You will be expected to drive culture & consumer insights projects, translate briefs into sharp proposals, and package strategic and creative thinking into presentations that are as rigorous as compelling.

We are looking for someone with a strong editorial sensibility, an adamant devotion to detail, and a one-of-a-kind analytical brain, who can confidently steer projects and contribute to a forward-thinking, culturally attuned practice. You must be based in Milan, or willing to relocate. Agency experience is a strong plus. Fluency in English is a must, as our office is an English-first working environment.
