We are looking for:
The Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for:
- Providing engineering leadership in the development, design, and execution of small to medium-sized capital projects within the Piedmont and Rock Hill sites;
- Providing direct oversight of outside engineering firms and technical specialists to ensure project designs are developed in compliance with Syensqo specifications, standards, and engineering practices;
- Supporting Production and Maintenance teams by providing mechanical design input to maintenance activities and reliability projects.

Effectively manage multiple capital and expense projects simultaneously from project concept (FEL I-III)



to implementation and closure (full execution).
Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules with input from Production, Process, and Maintenance engineering teams.
Lead detailed design efforts for small capital and expense projects.
Lead and manage external engineering contractors for large capital project design efforts and provide additional design resources during peak activity levels.
Develop engineering specifications and bid packages for engineering services, construction labor, and equipment.
Lead project design reviews with input from multiple departments, such as Production, Industrial Automation, Process Engineering, and Maintenance.
Develop project work plans to identify construction resources for project execution.
Develop engineering transmittals to communicate project design details to construction.
Assist construction supervisor with coordination activities for project execution.
