ppFor a client based in Milan we are looking for a freelance Welding Specialist. /p ul liPreferred start: September 2026 /li liInitial contract duration is till 28 February 2028 (extendable). /li /ul h3Job Purpose /h3 pThe Welding Engineer is responsible to review, assess and manage the scope of works relevant to the specialization of the allocated FEED/EPC package. The Designated Welding representative is the last line of engineering defence – review the equipment design / materials of construction / method of fabrication / material selection / service conditions / code compliance / constructability / Contractor and Vendor performance. /p h3Key Responsibilities and Duties /h3 ul liPlan and prepare schedule for finishing work within deadlines. /li liEnsure that the job progresses as per schedule. /li liReview, participate, guide and manage the FEED/EPC contractor in developing the scope of works as defined in the various Work Entity Releases (WER's).



/li liProvide technical support to the project management team and engage on any specialty services related to the discipline required activities (static equipment / piping / material selection / corrosion control / non-metallic / PMI). xysqume /li liResolve specialty related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards. /li /ul h3Educational Technical Requirements: /h3 ul liBachelor Degree in Engineering discipline /li li15 years of relevant experience in large to mega projects as specified by CSD welding group /li liThorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details /li liGood knowledge of English, both written and verbal /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
