Location: Milan, ItalyContract Type: Fixed-Term / Project-BasedIndustry: Energy / Oil & Gas About the Role We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to support a major international energy development project based in Milan. Working within the Project Information Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and secure management of project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large-scale, multinational project environment and work closely with engineering, project controls, and contractor teams across multiple locations. Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain project documentation in accordance with project procedures, standards, and information management requirements.Ensure accurate document receipt, registration, quality checks, distribution,



and archiving within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).Monitor document workflows and support timely reviews and approvals.Coordinate with contractor and supplier document control teams to ensure compliance with project requirements.Maintain and update Master Document Registers and Document Distribution Matrices.Monitor document status and provide regular reporting to project stakeholders.Support information handover activities during project close-out and transition phases.Respond to document-related queries and provide guidance to project personnel.Liaise with project teams, contractors, and information management personnel across multiple international locations.Participate in continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives to enhance document management processes.Promote and maintain compliance with Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality (HSSEQ) requirements.Requirements EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent.ExperienceMinimum 5 years' experience as a Document Controller within major Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC, Infrastructure, or Industrial projects.Experience
