As an Inbound Sales Representative , you’ll own the customer journey from the first conversation through to closing the deal and successful activation. You’ll use a consultative approach to understand each merchant’s needs, recommend the right SumUp solutions, and make sure they get up and running.
What You’ll Do
- Convert inbound leads into customers by understanding merchant needs, running engaging product conversations and closing deals through phone and video call.




- Own customer activation after the sale , ensuring your impact goes beyond closing the deal: true sales success comes from activating merchants and driving the adoption and usage of SumUp solutions.
- Manage your pipeline and performance , using Salesforce and data to prioritise opportunities, follow up effectively and continuously improve conversion and activation.
- Build strong customer relationships and work closely with Acquisition, Onboarding and Operations to create a smooth journey from lead to active customer.
- Share customer insights and requirements to help improve our sales and activation motion.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You
- Have experience in sales, account management, or a similar commercial/customer-facing role , with a track record of delivering measurable results.
- Are confident building relationships, understanding customer needs and influencing buying decisions — including closing commercial conversations
