Responsibilities

· Manage the preventative and corrective maintenance production teams also auxiliary workshops and wheel lathes teams where relevant

· Monitor and control Production output on a shift-by-shift basis.

· Help the depot manager in managing organisational change in order to optimise working practices and thus ensure a productive workforce.

· Ensure all Production activities meet the Safety and Quality requirements of internal standards & customer specifications





· Help the depot manager in Identifing training certification/habilitation and other resource needs to facilitate production in the most effective way.

· Review work plans to ensure daily production targets are met as effectively and efficiently as possible. Participate to analysis where there was a failure.

· Help the depot manager in identifying areas for improvement by personal check, analysis of vehicle incident reports and complaints, initiating action to ensure improvements.

· Plan and coordinates operation and movements of the trains in the depot

· Help the depot manager continuous improvement of processes.

· Update and close Service Order in Rail Sys

EHS
- Responsible for leading team members to uphold site safety, including reporting of any unsafe acts, process/procedure deviation

Performance
- Provide real time updates to the Production Manager on work progress against the agreed plan, SQDC deviations and adverse events.
- Ensure that all worksheets are correctly
