At Saipem, we embrace diversity as a driver of innovation and inclusion, while prioritizing people’s safety and environmental sustainability, even in the most challenging conditions. /p h3Purpose of the position: /h3 pAs bBuyer /b you will be part of bSupply Chain Function /b serving Sustainable Infrastructure Business Line. /p h3How can you support us? /h3 ul liCheck the completeness and consistency of Purchase Requisitions (e.g., quality requirements, HSE requirements, etc.) and define the most appropriate tender strategy (e.g., market approach, list of suppliers to be involved, etc.) in collaboration with the Requesting Units. /li liWhere required, launch market analyses and scouting campaigns to identify new suppliers and initiate their qualification process. /li liManage the bidding process in compliance with procedures and provided systems and tools. /li liPrepare the commercial/economic bid tabulation, select the supplier, negotiate contractual terms and conditions in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions and Project Special Conditions, and issue the Contract. /li liArchive the contractual documentation. /li /ul h3What are we looking for? /h3 pbEducation: /b Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering, or Economics. /p pbBackground: /b 3–5 years of previous experience as a Buyer, preferably in multinational companies. The candidate should have managed the same activities within complex infrastructure construction sites, ideally railway and/or metro projects in Italy. /p pbLanguages: /b good proficiency in both written and spoken English.



/p pbTechnical/IT Knowledge: /b proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with industry-standard procurement and enterprise management platforms (e.g., SAP, SAP Ariba Sourcing, Synergo, JAGGAER, etc.).
