ppAt Bryden Wood, we are expanding our team in Milan to work on large scale projects for the biggest names in "Big Tech" and Pharmaceutical sectors. /p pWe are looking for a Senior Mechanical / HVAC Engineer to lead the technical delivery of our Data Centre and large-scale Pharmaceutical projects. This is your chance to work in a truly international environment, fully integrated with our UK HQ, while enjoying benefits that set a new standard for the Italian market. /p h3THE ROLE /h3 pYou will be the mechanical lead of our projects in Italy as well as a key member on other international projects, working closely with all the other disciplines (Architecture, Structures, Civils and Sustainability) and clients to deliver innovative designs. /p ul liLead mechanical technical design (HVAC, cooling, piping and ventilation) for all project stages, from concept to construction, including calculations, concept development, project coordination, HS, risk management and project delivery. /li liSupervise and coordinate teams of engineers and technicians, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance and ensuring team cohesion toward project goals. /li liIdentify and specify appropriate mechanical equipment and components to meet project objectives, considering energy efficiency, reliability, redundancy and system compatibility. /li liDemonstrate strong knowledge of critical cooling systems, variable flow closed-circuit water systems, chilled water applications and mechanical equipment selection. /li liCarry out hydraulic system calculations, including pump sizing, pressure drop analysis and flow control for chilled water applications. /li liWork concurrently on multiple projects from concept through to delivery. /li liUse a solution-based approach to solve complex thermal and fluid dynamic problem /li liEnsure full compliance with Italian regulations. /li liProduce and sign off official submissions to local authorities.



/li liManage project coordination, QA/QC procedures and risk management. /li liMentor junior engineers and liaise with senior management on project escalations. /li /ul h3WHAT WE NEED /h3 ul liDegree in Mechanical, Industrial, Energy Engineering or equivalent. /li liMust-Have: Deep knowledge of Italian regulations. /li liMinimum of 4 years of professional experience, preferably with previous experience in Data Centre, mission critical or Pharmaceutical projects in Italy. /li liSolid experience on large-scale industrial, infrastructure or complex building services projects.
