This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. /ph3PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS /h3h3Duties of all PHP Physiatry (PMR) Nurse Practitioners: /h3ulliProvide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, under the supervision of the attending physician.



/liliCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing inpatient rehabilitation and long-term care patients with chronic pain, orthopedic and neurologic issues. /liliConduct regular rounds and follow-up visits to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. /liliEducate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques. /liliParticipate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high quality, evidence-based care. /lilibEDUCATION and QUALIFICATION /b /li /ulh3Required: /h3ulliMaster’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. /liliCurrent NP license in the state of Maryland. /liliMinimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, but not mandatory. /liliStrong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. /liliExcellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal abilities. /liliCommitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. /li /ulh3JOB SKILLS /h3ulliMust have strong oral and written communication skills /liliMust be detail oriented with an ability to work well both independently and in a team setting /liliExhibit a customer service approach with teams and residents /liliStrong time management skills required.
