Within the Space Division, in the Opto-Mechanical & Thermal Engineering Organizational Unit, we are looking for a Thermo-Mechanical Architect for our Nerviano (MI) office.

The person will operate as a Thermo-Mechanical Architect for the Space Division programs, in particular for all projects of the Robotics & Equipments Business Area.

The person will be responsible for:

- Evaluating problems related to thermal and structural design in a space environment.
- Coordinating internal working teams that operate in the development of different products in accordance with the requirements defined by technical specifications,



ensuring the achievement of milestones while respecting the times and costs associated with the various programs.
- Acting as a team interface towards various internal and external stakeholders of the reference IPTs.

Educational Qualification:

- Master's Degree in Mechanical and/or Aerospace Engineering.

Required Experience Level:

- Senior: at least 5 years of experience in the role.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

- Skills in the field of Thermo-Mechanical architectures of complex products.
- Management of issues related to thermal and structural analysis (random vibration, sine, shock analysis).
- Understanding and critical evaluation of results.
- Mechanical design skills.
- Interface and configuration management.

Behavioral Skills:

- Team working
- Organization and precision

- Time and deadline management

Language Skills:

- English (min. B2 level)

Computer Skills:

- Windows, Office suite
- CATIA V5

Other:

- Availability for short business trips nationally and internationally is required.

How does the selection process work?
