Overview In this role you will lead the commercial development of strategic Power Systems opportunities within the IET Industrial Power Generation business. You own end-to-end proposal strategy from early engagement to contract award, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver competitive, profitable, customer-focused solutions. You will drive bid strategy, pricing governance, and risk analysis to maximize win rates in a global, matrix environment.

Responsabilità
- Lead the preparation of commercial proposals for large and complex Power Systems opportunities with cross-functional teams
- Define bid strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions
- Coordinate inputs from engineering, product management, supply chain, and service teams
- Ensure proposals are complete, compliant, competitive, and submitted on time
- Support strategic pursuits from early engagement through contract award
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, contractual obligations, and internal governance processes
- Drive proposal reviews, approvals, and executive presentations
- Develop pricing strategies balancing competitiveness and profitability
- Lead commercial risk analysis and mitigation planning per governance processes
- Assess contractual terms and negotiate commercial conditions
- Act as focal point between Sales,



Application Engineers, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and Execution teams
- Guide internal stakeholders in developing optimized customer solutions
- Support transition from commercial phase to project execution
- Establish best practices for bidding, tendering, and commercial governance
- Mentor proposal managers and tendering specialists
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase proposal quality and win rates
- Develop tools, templates, and performance metrics for commercial effectiveness

Requisiti fondamentali
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related disciplines
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a project-oriented organization
- Solid technical and commercial background in the Industrial Energy industry in customer-facing roles
- Strong communication and influence at senior leadership level
- Experience with complex and multidisciplinary projects and EPC projects
- Knowledge of rotating equipment and solutions for the Industrial Energy industry
- Ability to work in a global-matrix organization and take ownership
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel up to ~30%
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to build relationships with customers and maintain trust
- Good business acumen and customer-centric attitude
- Independent problem solver with a never-give-up attitude
- Experience in electrical distribution systems, grid modernization, or power quality solutions (preferred)
- Italian language knowledge (advantage)
