ppRINA is currently recruiting for a Technology Innovation, Strategy and Roadmapping Consultant - Categorie Protette 68/99 to join its office in Genoa, Italy to join its office in Genoa within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pThe Consultant takes on a leadership position within the team, with responsibility for the technical management of projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Technology Innovation, Strategy Roadmapping, they oversee the technical progress of the engagements they are assigned to: framing the client's problem, structuring the analytical approach, coordinating the contributions of the consultants involved, and ensuring the quality and consistency of the deliverables. Depending on the project, the role ranges from hands‑on analytical work to technical coordination and internal reference point. They also act as a technical counterpart for the client and contribute to proposal preparation and business development. /p pIn particular, the person in this role will work on and coordinate management consulting projects in the following areas: /p ul liTechnology scenario analysis, market analysis and trend identification, value chain analysis, technology scouting, KPI definition, benchmarking and implementation roadmaps; /li liSupply chain optimisation, supplier scouting and benchmarking; /li liProcess optimisation; /li liBusiness Continuity Plan; /li liSupport to subsidised finance schemes (e.g. IPCEI, Innovation Fund, PNRR) from application to compliance during the project execution phase; /li liEU-funded RD projects (e.g. Horizon Europe, LIFE). /li /ul h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liProject Delivery /li liManage the technical execution of assigned consulting projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline and budget. /li liCoordinate the consultants working on the project and help them integrate contributions into a consistent final output. /li liContribute directly to the analytical work where required by the nature and size of the project. /li liTechnical Quality /li liEnsure the methodological soundness and quality of analyses, deliverables and client presentations. /li liAct as internal technical reference point for the team on assigned projects.



/li liClient Management /li liAct as technical counterpart for the client throughout the engagement, managing day‑to‑day interactions and expectations. /li liPresent findings and recommendations to client stakeholders. /li liProposals and Business Development /li liSupport the Head of Discipline in the preparation of technical proposals, including scoping, methodology definition and effort estimation. /li liIdentify opportunities for follow‑on work within existing client relationships. /li liTeam Development /li liMentor junior consultants on assigned projects, supporting their technical and professional growth. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pMaster’s Degree in Engineering General /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMandatory requirement: Registered as a protected category candidate under Italian Law 68/99 (collocamento mirato) /li li4-6 years of experience in management consulting, or in a corporate role (e.g. RD, innovation, strategy, technology) involving work on multiple projects in parallel. /li liExperience in coordinating project activities and resources, managing deadlines and interfacing with multiple stakeholders. /li liAbility to present analytical outputs effectively and concisely, tailoring the level of detail to different audiences up to senior management. /li liStrong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to structure complex and poorly defined problems. /li liTechnical or engineering background, enabling a solid understanding of the technological content of the projects. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English. /li liExperience in client relationship management. /li /ul h3Will be considered a Plus /h3 ul liExperience with EU-funded RD programmes or subsidised finance schemes (e.g. Horizon Europe, IPCEI, PNRR). /li liExperience in state‑of‑the‑art and desk research: analysis of scientific literature,



technical and market reports, patents, and open-source information, with the ability to synthesise fragmented sources into a coherent picture. /li liExperience in mentoring or coordinating junior consultants. The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €35,000 and €45,000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
