Overview

As a Mechanical Designer at Ferrero, you will develop equipment and machinery for production plants, guiding projects from needs analysis through installation. You’ll work within a global innovation and design team to drive technical progress and continuous improvements. You’ll balance engineering excellence with budget, schedule, safety, and environmental considerations, collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers. This role offers exposure to international plant environments and the opportunity to shape manufacturing solutions in a renowned confectionery group.

Responsabilità

- Design and install special equipment and machinery from concept through deployment at Ferrero plants
- Prepare detailed technical projects and coordinate external studies to ensure project coherence
- Innovate solutions to meet project specifications and drive continuous plant, lab, and experimental unit improvements
- Address non-technical aspects (budget, schedule, quality, hygiene, safety, ergonomics, environment)




- Participate in internal meetings and collaborate with stakeholders and external suppliers across global locations

Requisiti fondamentali

- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience in machinery design for Food, FMCG or Automation sectors
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles
- Proficiency in CAD software (2D/3D), Autodesk Inventor
- Project management exposure (budgeting, scheduling, quality assurance, safety, hygienic design, environmental compliance) is a plus
- Fluent Italian and English communication
- Willingness for international mobility
- Good collaboration and problem-solving skills
