We are seeking one researcher passionate about artificial intelligence and sustainable energy management to join our research group as a postdoctoral research fellow. You will be involved in research activities concerning the development of AI-based methodologies for the energy management. The role is primarily located in Cagliari, Italy at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Gross Salary: ~€38000,00/year

Role description

As part of our team, your main responsibilities will include:

- Designing, developing, and validating predictive models for energy consumption, renewable energy generation, and critical load forecasting, leveraging historical data together with contextual information and external drivers;
- Developing predictive and adaptive control strategies to optimize energy management and system operation, with a particular focus on HVAC systems, cold-chain applications, and energy storage systems.
