/b /p pCheckmarx is seeking a talented Solutions Engineer to support its sales and business development activities in Italy.The primary responsibility is to act as a trusted adviser and solution expert, working with the Sales team and driving the technology evaluation stages in the sales process.
You must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technically-oriented prospects as well as ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.You need to be self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.




The role involves working remotely and may require European travel as needed.

/b /p ul liAct as a business solution adviser and product technical expert for Checkmarx prospects and customers across the region /li liManage and coordinate all technical requirements in the Sales process /liliPerform technical demonstrations of the Checkmarx solution in face to face meetings, conventions, and web sessions /li liBe able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs /li liAble to convey customer requirements to the Product Management teams /li liDesign implementation of solutions according to customer's technical requirements /li libFluency in Italian English /b (native or professional proficiency) is essential for communication with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders in the Italy region /li libProven experience /b working in or within Italy and ideally other European countries /li /ul pbWhat is needed to succeed?
/b /p ul liA passion to learn and grow in a fast-changing industry /li liBachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Science,



or any correlating degree; master's degree and/or CISSP certification preferred /li li5 years experience in enterprise software pre-sales /li liStrong teamwork capability, ability to work autonomously, a self-starter who works effectively with both technical and non-technical people /li liAbility to build relationships with other parts of the organization (Product, RD, Marketing, Sales, etc) /li liProject management experience would be an advantage /li liTechnical writing experience a plus /li liIdeally have some experience with application/software development with any modern programming language like C#, .
NET, JAVA, PHP, etc.and experience with modern CI/CD and DevOps tools preferred.
