Your Contribution To Prysmian's Success We are looking for a Business Development Engineer to join our office in Milan. Reporting Directly To The Business Development Manager, You Will * Support the identification and development of new business opportunities in the renewable energy segment, with a particular focus on emerging ocean energy markets (tidal, wave, floating solutions) * Contribute to market intelligence activities, tracking industry trends, competitors, and new technologies in niche and fast-evolving sectors * Engage with external stakeholders (developers, EPCs, technology providers, institutions) to position Prysmian as a key partner in innovative projects * Support the preparation of commercial proposals, pre-qualifications, and tenders for new and strategic opportunities * Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, R&D;, product management) to adapt existing solutions or develop new offerings tailored to emerging applications * Contribute to business development initiatives in defense and military applications,



supporting strategic positioning and opportunity scouting * Assist in building and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities in both renewable and defense-related markets * Support client meetings, workshops, and industry events to strengthen relationships and identify new leads You Are The Right Fit If You Have/are * Fluent in English and another language is a plus * Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or equivalent) * Up to 3-4 years of experience as/in a business development role * basic understanding of energy infrastructure, offshore or industrial projects * Strong communication & interpersonal skills * Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset What We Offer * Type of contract: Permanent Tempo pieno * Location: Milan
