If you share our passion for creativity, sustainability, and innovation, we’d love to hear from you. /p h3ABOUT THE ROLE /h3 pVivienne Westwood is currently looking for a Digital Pattern Cutter to support the Design team in our Studio located in Milan Office. /p h3KEY REPSONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liDevelopment of sampling and production pattern as well as Showpieces /li liLiaising with designers during fittings and providing input for experimental garment ideas, technical insight and support during adjustments /li liDeveloping new pattern: Digital pattern cutting using Lectra (Modaris and Diamino) and Clo3D; Creating new patterns, working on already existing patterns, alterations, etc.; Digitising paper pattern; Suggesting finishing solutions; Finalising production pattern, including technical information and measurement sheets for production companies; Preparing toiles (cutting and sewing toiles, doing alterations if necessary); Suggesting finishing solutions; Pattern Grading, when necessary /li liCommunication with vendors (exchanging pattern, problem solving, etc.) /li liCommunication with Lectra in regards to hard- and software maintenance /li liMaintaining the pattern archive (paper and digital) /li liWorking collaboratively with other pattern cutters, machinists, and designers, including those based in the London office (communicating in both Italian and English)
