We are looking for mid-level seniority Legal Counsel Commercial Contracts to join our Legal Department reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel Commercial Contracts.
This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of a fast-paced, international retail business, supporting a wide range of commercial operations.The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience gained at a primary law firm, with a solid focus on drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and a logical mindset.You will act as a trusted business partner, providing clear, practical, and timely legal support while balancing legal risk and business objectives.
This position requires a combination of technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.Key Responsibilities:Contract ManagementDraft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of commercial contracts, including:Franchise and licensing agreementsSales, agency and distribution agreementsService agreementsPurchase and supply agreementsLogistics, warehousing, and transportation agreementsIT, software licensing, SaaS, and digital service agreementsOutsourcing, facility management, and utilities contractsLegal AdvisoryProvide clear, business-oriented advice to internal stakeholders.Ensure compliance of contracts with applicable laws, company policies, and best practices.Support management in strategic decisions relating to partnerships, procurement, and retail operations.Advise on contract liabilities and manage related litigation mattersCross-Functional SupportPartner closely with departments including Sales, Procurement and Finance.Contribute proactively to business discussions,



understanding commercial drivers and aligning legal advice accordingly.Qualifications & ExperienceLaw degree with excellent academic credentials and bar qualification is essential.At least 5 years of legal experience at a top tier law firm, with extensive exposure to contract law and commercial agreements is a must.Additional knowledges of company law and extraordinary corporate operations is a plusFluency in English (both written and spoken) is essentialKey Skills & CompetenciesProven track record of drafting and negotiating complex contracts.Ability to balance legal risk with commercial opportunity, applying a pragmatic approach.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.High level of integrity, professional judgment, and resilience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join Us?
