The Process Engineer will seek to improve overall manufacturing processes as measured by improved operating efficiency, increased throughput and or reduced operating costs, develop and monitor maintenance KPI’s. Solutions will be developed through detailed analysis of the manufacturing operations and the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. and operational management ensuring alignment when introducing implementing new processes, work instructions, and equipmentDevelop design and drawings (2D and 3D) using CAD softwareLead projects from design/analysis to installation and commissioningWork closely with operations, maintenance, EHS&Q, and necessary resources in pursuit of manufacturing efficienciesTrack and analyze maintenance KPI`s including MTBF and MTTR and equipment/line reliability.Diagnose/Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and implement CAPA plants to minimize downtimeMonitor OEE to ensure high equipment availability and performance.Maintain detailed database of key equipment/part suppliers, distributors, OEMs, consumables for timely and efficient procurement of parts and materials.Other duties as assignedSKILLS AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering3-5 years of relevant experience in an engineering or operations role2 years of experience utilizing LEAN and or Six Sigma methodologiesKnowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and/or quality standardsAbility to interpret and relay drawing specifications and programming commandsExcellent computer literacy and interpersonal communication skillsIndustrial flow/process flow, independent problem-solving skillsCritical thinking and strategic planning skillsGreen Belt in Lean manufacturing is an assetPossess basic electrical knowledge, including familiarity with PLCs, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams is an assetProficiency with CMMS software or prior experience with tracking and managing maintenance data in spreadsheets is essentialProficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks or equivalent is requiredAvailability to drive and visit other Opta sites will be requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose and evaluate issues and assist with the planning of repairs or maintenance.Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. xysqume Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.#J-18808-Ljbffr
