Senior Software Engineer, Field Survey Applications (Java, C++)

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain field software used with GNSS receivers and surveying equipment across Android, Windows, Linux, and iOS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions and connect field devices with Topcon and third-party systems. You’ll troubleshoot issues, contribute to new features, and help improve software processes. This role offers the chance to impact field professionals working with connected-data solutions on a global scale.

- Develop and maintain field survey applications using Java, C++, and related technologies
- Implement modules that interface with Topcon and third-party field equipment
- Collaborate with project managers, team leaders, and software teams to plan delivery and ensure quality
- Analyze, troubleshoot,



and resolve technical and application issues
- Support existing mature software while contributing to new features, testing, and documentation
- Provide technical guidance and contribute to continuous improvement of software processes
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with strong Java and/or C++
- Hands-on Android development experience with Android Studio
- Strong understanding of OOP, software design, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading
- Experience with development tools, xlwpduy version control, debugging, testing, and documentation
- Knowledge of bug tracking systems such as JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices
- Familiarity with c++20, boost, asio, gRPC, protobuf, mqtt, ntrip, rtcm, NMEA, cryptography, static analysis, memory optimization, C++ templates, sql, multithreading, lockfree, docker, geometry (advantage)
