Overview In this role you lead cost management for Data Centre projects in Italy, guiding the end-to-end cost process and client liaison from Milan. You shape strategy, expand services, and ensure high-quality delivery across contracts. You’ll drive value through cost planning, procurement, and post-contract financials, while building a strong client-facing cost management capability with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilità

Develop and expand cost management services and identify new business opportunities Lead and develop teams to ensure high-quality service delivery Maintain governance and commercial control across contracts, risk, HSW, delivery and finance Oversee pre- and post-contract QS activities: feasibility, cost estimating, planning, procurement, tendering, contract administration Manage variations, cost checks, valuations, change control, and final accounts Produce cost plans, tender reports, monthly cost reports, and post-contract updates Drive value engineering and negotiate commercial outcomes with clients and contractors Interface with clients, consultants,



and contractors throughout all project stages Improve cost management processes, templates, and tools for efficiency and quality Ensure compliance with business management systems and strong financial control

Requisiti fondamentali

10+ years' experience in cost management Experience leading cost management commissions for large, complex construction projects Knowledge of procurement routes, value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing People management experience in project delivery contexts Technical experience across pre-contract, post-contract, and final accounts Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civils, structural and architectural aspects of construction Experience in the Italian construction industry and familiarity with contractual documentation is advantageous Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and work as part of a team Proficiency with MS Office and modern cost management digital tools leadership and team development stakeholder management clear communication cost estimating (concept to detailed) cost planning procurement and tendering
