It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required,



stand together in the face of attack under Article V. /p pTo provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce. /p h3Role ID – C /h3 h3Role Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ulliOperate and perform unit and field level maintenance and emergency interventions on the Satellite Ground Station and associated communications facilities, and terrestrial links (DLOS, Fibre) terminating at the SGS; /liliMaintain station logs and ensure proper outage reporting /liliActivate circuits in accordance with circuit work orders /liliOperate/maintain data networks to provide reach-back/backhaul anchoring for deployed NATO forces /liliProvide feedback to Chief Technician and Station Engineers for internal training program improvements, and ensure maintenance personnel comply with prescribed maintenance procedures. /liliParticipate on On-the-Job-Training (OJT) programs to complement official NCI Academy training program. /liliPerform all duties requested by Station Command, and related to daily functioning of the Site and position of the Site within NCIA, NATO, and the local community. /liliCarry out other duties as directed. /li /ul h3Essential Skills, Experience and Certifications /h3 ulliAntenna sub-system including; radome, feed horn, reflector, pedestal,
