Financial Controller (Hospitality Investment Group)*This role will involve time in the Middle East, given the ownership structure.*We're supporting a Middle Eastern investment firm that owns an international hotel portfolio, including luxury properties across Italy and broader europe. They're looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to look after the numbers across their hotels and the companies that own them.What you'd be doing:* Running the monthly close and management reporting across the hotels and group entities* Property-level reporting including USALI, making sure the numbers agree with what's happening in operations* Bank reconciliations, payment runs, supplier terms and cash management across several countries* Controls, fixed asset and capex registers, inventory counts* Preparing reporting for the owners: cash flow, capex, intercompany* Helping bring accounting work in-house that's currently outsourced* Supporting new acquisitions and openings,



getting reporting and controls in place from day oneThis is a doing role. You'll have bookkeeping and admin support, but the reconciliations, the close and the reporting are yours. Ideal for someone who likes owning the detail.Who we're looking for:* 5+ years in hotel or hospitality finance, ideally as a Financial Controller, Assistant Director of Finance or similar* You've run a month-end close yourself and know USALI* Italian statutory and tax experience is a strong advantage* Experience across more than one property or entity is a plus* Comfortable with modern finance tools and automation, not just spreadsheets* Fluent English essentialA great step for a hotel finance professional who wants exposure to the ownership and investment side of hospitality.Competitive package.
