Overview

In this role you will drive the technical closure of mid-enterprise opportunities by designing and presenting Fortinet security solutions. You’ll partner with sales, customers, and partners to translate requirements into deployable architectures, lead POCs, and deliver engaging technical sessions. You will stay current on Fortinet offerings and industry threats while identifying opportunities to strengthen customer security postures. This position offers a collaborative, high-impact environment with scope to influence security architectures at scale.

Responsabilità

- Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle for mid-enterprise accounts, from discovery to RFIs/RFPs as needed
- Collaborate with sales to translate customer requirements into Fortinet solutions
- Serve as primary technical contact for customers, coordinating with partners and internal teams
- Lead and support POCs, and drive technical activities through to closure
- Deliver technical presentations, demos, whiteboard sessions, and solution workshops
- Understand customer requirements and design differentiated security solutions
- Keep knowledge current on Fortinet products and competitive landscape




- Identify opportunities to expand and improve customer security architectures
- Manage multiple opportunities with prioritization and focus on customer experience
- Maintain accurate Salesforce activity, contact, and account information
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes

Requisiti fondamentali

- Security technology aptitude across encryption, authentication, network security, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, routing, switching, LAN/WAN, VPN
- Experience in pre-sales, systems engineering, or similar customer-facing technical role
- End-to-end management of technical aspects from opportunity to closure
- Knowledge of modern security architectures (SASE, SD-WAN, Zero Trust, cloud security, SOC)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, RADIUS, PKI, IKE, certificates, IPsec)
- Proven problem-solving and ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience delivering technical presentations, demos, POCs
- Understanding of competitive networking and security technologies
- Fortinet experience and certifications such as NSE, CCNP, or CISSP would be beneficial
