Overview In this role, you will manage procurement and sourcing activities to secure on-time delivery and cost targets for production and projects at GEA. You will collaborate with R&D;, strategic and operational buyers, and quality teams to implement category strategies and ensure supplier performance. You will influence procurement processes, including RFQs, invoicing, and data integrity, while advancing AI-enabled improvements across purchasing. Responsabilità

Process purchase orders and manage expediting Clarify issues with suppliers and communicate demand, volume, and delivery times Follow category-guided procurement processes and policies Support finance with invoice verification and cost data Manage price lists and ensure sourcing plan alignment Coordinate shipments and monitor supplier on-time delivery KPIs Analyze MRP and other systems to forecast material needs Lead AI implementation across procurement processes Collaborate with R&D;,



strategic and operational buyers, and quality Manage RFQs, supplier selection, and project sourcing aligned with strategy Oversee project procurement activities and cost targets Support master data and invoice mismatch resolution with Finance Act as procurement contact for project management and stakeholders Share project procurement progress through regular updates Maintain local supplier master data and oversee shipping/logistics considerations

Requisiti fondamentali

Experience in operational procurement Strong teamwork in high-pressure environments Good knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems Experience in complex organizations (helpful) Cost and data analysis skills AI tools implementation (welcome) Experience in manufacturing/service operations Fluent in English and Italian Financial and business understanding Analytical skills Problem solving and ownership orientation Strong interpersonal and communication skills MS Office proficiency Knowledge of shipping, customs clearance, and logistics (welcome) Willingness for short business trips Teamwork under pressure Analytical mindset Clear communication SAP / ERP systems MRP / P2P processes Data analysis
