About this vacancy

The role involves working on both bare-metal firmware and operating-system-based environments, contributing to the full development cycle from requirements analysis to testing and validation on target hardware.

- Analyze technical requirements and functional specifications for embedded motor control systems.
- Design, develop, and test firmware in C for microcontroller-based platforms.
- Develop embedded software both in bare-metal environments and on operating-system-based architectures, including real-time systems.
- Implement and tune control algorithms for electric motors, working on actuation, feedback loops, and system performance optimisation.
- Perform firmware debugging, troubleshooting, integration, laboratory testing, and validation, working closely with Hardware, Electronics, and System Engineering teams.

What we expect from you

- Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in embedded firmware development.




- Strong programming skills in C and solid hands-on experience with microcontrollers and low-level embedded development.
- Experience in firmware development both in bare-metal environments and with embedded operating systems or RTOS.
- Knowledge of electric motor control principles, including actuation, control loops, feedback management, and tuning activities.
- Good knowledge of real-time embedded-system architectures and peripheral interfaces.
- Experience with firmware debugging, troubleshooting, optimisation, testing, and validation on target hardware.
- Ability to use laboratory instruments for testing and troubleshooting activities.
- Experience with communication interfaces and integration with electronic hardware is considered a plus.
- Clear and structured communication, cross-functional collaboration, analytical thinking, prioritization, and results orientation.
- Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, and operate effectively in an innovative, fast-evolving environment.
- Good command of Italian and English language.
- Willingness to travel and relocate will be considered a plus.

What you can expect from us

The position offers a permanent employment contract,



and the base gross annual salary (Gross Annual Salary – RAL) will be no less than €35,000, in line with the National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution and Services.

TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package. At the end of the recruitment process, after assessing the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may offer a final gross annual salary higher than the amount stated above.

In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a project profit-sharing component, an individual annual learning and development budget of €4,000 net, and an annual welfare allowance. Further details will be provided during the recruitment process, in accordance with the company's applicable policies.
