QC Engineer - Milan (Italy)

Your New Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join a leading engineering and construction team delivering large-scale mission-critical and industrial projects in Milan, Italy. You will play a key role in ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and construction works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, client requirements, and industry regulations.Working closely with project management, construction, commissioning, and subcontractor teams, you will drive quality excellence throughout all phases of project delivery, from installation inspections through to final handover.

Responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain project-specific Quality Control procedures and inspection plans.
- Conduct inspections of mechanical, electrical, and CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) works to ensure compliance with specifications and approved drawings.
- Review and monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation, and method statements.
- Coordinate quality inspections with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and third-party inspectors.
- Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs, and ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented effectively.
- Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, test certificates, and turnover documentation.
- Support project teams during internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure all installations comply with applicable industry standards, project requirements, and health & safety regulations.
- Participate in walk downs, snagging activities, and project closeout processes.
- Collaborate with commissioning teams to support successful system testing and project handover.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence across the project.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

- Degree or qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Services, or a related technical discipline.




- Previous experience as a QC Engineer, Quality Engineer, QA/QC Engineer, or Quality Inspector within construction, engineering, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or data centre projects.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and quality assurance processes.
- Experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and inspection documentation.
- Excellent knowledge of inspection and testing procedures across mechanical, electrical, or CSA disciplines.
- Familiarity with NCR management, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
