Our partner is looking for a Sr. Automation Tester with IRS GFE required based in Italy. /b /ppAs a Senior Automation Tester, you will help ensure the quality, security, and reliability of software supporting an IRS code modernization initiative.br/You will translate project requirements into comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated testing workflows.br/The role combines hands-on manual and automated testing with defect management, regression testing, and acceptance testing.br/You will work closely with developers and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle and CI/CD process.br/Your expertise will help identify issues early, improve testing efficiency, and maintain consistent software quality standards.br/You will also contribute to backend validation involving APIs and databases while helping strengthen testing practices over time.br/This is an opportunity to play a key role in delivering reliable modernized systems within a structured, quality-focused environment. /ph3Accountabilities: /h3ulliAnalyze project requirements and translate them into clear, comprehensive test plans and test cases. /liliDesign, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts. /liliSet up and manage test environments to support different testing activities. /liliPerform functional, regression, acceptance, and other required software testing. /liliDevelop and maintain automated tests using frameworks and tools such as Selenium or Cypress. /liliIdentify, document, and track software defects through resolution in collaboration with development teams. /liliPerform backend testing involving APIs and databases, including SQL-based validation where applicable. /liliParticipate throughout the software development lifecycle and integrate testing activities into CI/CD processes. /liliCollaborate with developers and technical and non-technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve quality issues.
