MICLA Engineering & Design is looking for a Wiring Harness System Engineer – Low Voltage (LV) to join our Engineering team and support the development of automotive electrical systems.

The role:

You will be involved in the design, development, integration and validation of LV wiring harness systems, working closely with Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Components, Manufacturing and Quality teams.

Main responsibilities

- Define and develop LV wiring harness architecture and systems according to vehicle requirements.
- Manage electrical distribution, circuits, connections and interfaces between electrical/electronic components.
- Support the definition of wiring harness routing, topology and packaging.
- Analyse and solve electrical and functional issues throughout the development phases.
- Support design reviews, validation, testing and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams during development and industrialization.




- Manage technical documentation, specifications, change requests and engineering issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of wiring harness design, processes and methodologies.

Technical requirements

- Degree or technical qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Automotive Engineering.
- Previous experience in automotive wiring harness / electrical systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical architectures, schematics, connectors, terminals and wiring components.
- Familiarity with automotive development processes and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of CATIA, NX, Capital, KBL, E3S or similar tools is considered a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in international and cross-functional teams.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and synthesis skills.
- Collaborative team player who can also work autonomously and independently.
- Flexibility and availability to travel as required.

Languages:

- Italian: fluent/native.
- English: good working proficiency.
- Knowledge of Spanish or French is considered a plus.
