MICLA Engineering & Design is looking for a Wiring Harness System Engineer – High Voltage (HV) to support the development of advanced electrified vehicle platforms.

The role

The candidate will contribute to the design, development, integration and validation of HV wiring harness systems, working on high-voltage architectures for electric and hybrid vehicles.

Main responsibilities

- Define and develop HV wiring harness architectures according to vehicle and system requirements.
- Manage HV interfaces between battery, PDU, inverter, e-motor, OBC, DC/DC and other HV components.
- Support HV harness routing, packaging, shielding and protection.
- Work with HV+, HV− and three-phase U/V/W architectures according to the vehicle topology.
- Support the definition and management of HVIL (High Voltage Interlock Loop) systems.
- Analyse electrical, functional and packaging issues throughout the development cycle.
- Support testing, validation,



troubleshooting and risk-analysis activities.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers and international engineering teams.
- Support compliance with applicable automotive and HV safety requirements.

Technical requirements

- Degree or technical qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Automotive Engineering.
- Experience with HV automotive systems, wiring harnesses or electrified vehicles is preferred.
- Knowledge of HV architectures, connectors, shielding, insulation and electrical protection.
- Familiarity with HVIL, EMC/EMI and HV safety concepts.
- Knowledge of CATIA, NX, Capital, KBL, E3S or similar tools is considered a plus.
- Experience with automotive development and validation processes is preferred.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and synthesis skills.
- Collaborative team player who can also work autonomously and independently.
- Flexibility and availability to travel as required.

Languages

- Spanish: fluent/native.
- English: good working proficiency.
- Knowledge of Italian is considered a strong plus, particularly for projects involving Italian engineering teams.
