/liliUse flexible teaching methodologies that engage students with diverse learning styles.
/liliLead by example, demonstrate the IB learner profile in action, and guide students toward becoming open-minded, compassionate, thoughtful learners with a global perspective.
/liliAssess and respond to student abilities and progress, adapting their approach with different teaching styles.
/liliUndertake lesson preparation, set/mark examinations, write student reports, and develop assessments aligned to the IB requirements and the school calendar.

/liliSet and mark students' work accurately and promptly, giving guidance and work according to their needs, supporting their development and progression.
/liliProvide regular and supportive feedback to students and parents.
/liliSupport students' personal development and wellbeing and seek support from the School Counsellor and Programme Heads where welfare concerns are identified.
/li /ulh3Team responsibilities (15%) /h3ulliWork collaboratively with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, unit planning,



assessment development, and improvement programs.
/liliOpenly exchange ideas, expertise, resources, and tools with colleagues and within the subject areas to improve teaching within the school.
/liliMaintain an in-depth knowledge of the appropriate curricula and current teaching trends, digital tools, and developments /li /ulh3School-wide responsibilities (5%) /h3ulliBe an academic and pastoral mentor to a group of students.
/liliFoster and promote a sense of pride and positive community spirit among staff and students.
/liliUndertake cover lessons when required.
/liliAssist with marking and evaluating placement exams when necessary.
/liliCompulsory attendance at meetings both during and outside of school hours including: school meetings, staff meetings, subject area meetings, interdisciplinary meetings, supervising student breaks, home-room activities other meetings which are required by the school.
/liliComplete supervision duties according to the calendar (possible duties include lunch supervision, drop-off or departure duty, uniform checks, bus supervision, break, and supervision).
/li /ulh3Qualifications Requested /h3ulliRight to work in Italy (EU passport or valid Italian work VISA).
/liliA relevant bachelor's degree and teacher qualification (eg: History,



or another related field from an accredited, state-approved programme).
/liliImmaculate police check(s).
/li /ulh3Contract Duration /h3ulliFixed-term, with the possibility for extension.
/li /ulh3Experience /h3ulliA minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience in a comparable school environment.
/liliRelevant teaching experience within the subject area(s), preferably in an IB school (MYP and/or DP).
/liliSpecialist skills knowledge.
/liliProven ability to plan and deliver innovative inquiry-based lessons that engage students and address their diverse learning needs.
/liliDemonstrated ability to use digital tools and resources effectively to enhance learning.
/liliPlanning and organisational skills.
/liliFluent English: reading, speaking, writing (Common European Framework of Reference - CEFR level C1-C2).
