Purpose of the position: As HSE Engineer you will report to the HSE Manager and be part of the Prevention and Protection Services Team within the HSEQ Function.
You will contribute to the implementation of Saipem's HSE standards on site based in Livorno (Biorefinery), supporting both Saipem's construction team and subcontractors in maintaining compliance with project, client and legal requirements.
How can you support us?
Your responsibilities: Ensure the application of Saipem HSE standards, client requirements and local regulations in the Saipem construction site and subcontractors and support the preparation, implementation and monitoring of project HSE Plans and Procedures.
Perform daily inspections in the field, verifying compliance with Permit-to-Work system,



risk assessments and method statements and monitor subcontractors' HSE performance and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Promote HSE awareness through toolbox talks, training sessions and campaigns and contribute to incident reporting, investigation and follow-up of corrective actions.
Participate in risk assessments, job safety analyses and pre-task briefings and provide technical advice to construction teams and disciplinary superintendents on safe execution of activities.
What are we looking for?
Education: Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Safety Engineering or similar field.
Experience: At least 1–3 years of experience as HSE/Safety Engineer preferably in Oil any subjective or discriminatory factors, including but not limited to gender or other personal characteristics.
Regulatory Compliance is made in compliance with the principle of equal pay for the same work or work of equal value; complies with the pay transparency requirements set out in EU Directive ******** and the relevant national implementing legislation.
