Job description

At Digital Pills, our mission is to empower businesses with the strategic use of data. As a Junior BI Analyst/Developer, you will contribute to client delivery projects within our BI practice, building dashboards,



semantic models and reporting solutions under the guidance of senior team members. You will work primarily on Power BI, progressively gaining autonomy on well-defined modules and tasks, while applying the firm’s BI standards and methodology. Your role is to turn validated requirements into reliable, well-modelled and well-designed reporting outputs, learning the craft end-to-end across the BI delivery process.

As a Junior BI Analyst/Developer, the results we expect you to contribute are as follows:

- Power BI Delivery: Build dashboards, reports and semantic models on Power BI for client projects, working on assigned modules with autonomy proportional to seniority and delivering outputs that meet the firm’s quality and visual design standards
- Data Modeling & DAX: Implement star schemas and DAX measures correctly (explicit grain, atomic measures, no anti-patterns), following the established modelling conventions rather than improvising
- Data Quality & Reconciliation: Apply data quality checks on assigned fields and reconcile delivered KPIs against the official source within tolerance (±1%) before exposing them
- Communication & Collaboration: Translate technical work into clear updates for senior colleagues and, when appropriate, clients; ask the right questions early; cooperate effectively within the delivery team

First-year mission delivery:Â

- Reach autonomous delivery on Power BI reporting tasksÂ
- Contribute to at least 2 client projectsÂ
- Demonstrate solid command of data modelling and DAX fundamentalsÂ
- Show progression from supervised tasks toward owning small modules end-to-end

Education & ExperienceÂ

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics or equivalent practical experience




- 1+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics or data modelling
- Strong interest in working across data modelling, reporting and data visualization

Hard Skills (essential)

Fluent in Italian, C1 English

Business Intelligence & Reporting

- Hands-on experience with Power BI (data model, report building)
- Understanding of DAX or willingness to learn it to a solid level
- Ability to design clear, readable dashboards aligned to business questions

Data Modelling

- SQL
- Understanding of dimensional modelling (star schema, fact/dimension, grain)
- Notion of how a data warehouse / semantic layer feeds reporting

Ways of working

- Experience with Git or willingness to adopt version-controlled workflows
- Ability to produce clean, documented, maintainable work
- Comfortable following established standards and conventions rather than improvising

What we offer

- Salary: RAL €26k - €32k (based on experience)
