Overview

In this role you will lead system design and integration for Upgrades solutions across legacy machines and new Climate Technology Solutions. You’ll work within Engineering Transformation to improve process quality and align design with site realities. You will drive design execution, validation, and installation support across multi-disciplinary interfaces. The position offers impact on efficiency, availability, and lifecycle extension of critical equipment while collaborating with global teams.

Responsabilità

- Own system design of auxiliaries for Upgrades solutions, including selection of process instrumentation and installation aspects
- Attend site surveys, define new supply, and perform reverse engineering where needed
- Manage technical documentation and scheduling for OTR jobs or NPD programs
- Lead and participate in HAZOP, SIL, Hazid and LOPA reviews
- Develop predictive system design through modeling and numerical automation (Matlab/Simulink, Flow Master, Hysis)
- Execute project design and analysis following engineering practices and requirements




- Coordinate with internal interfaces (ITO Team, Project Engineering, PM, other design engineers, testing cell, procurement, quality, manufacturing, service)
- Engage with external interfaces (customers and suppliers) to maximize productivity and teamwork
- Provide technical leadership and manage engineering hours budget for internal/external teams
- Ensure alignment with BH values, promote culture, IP preservation, and HSE standards

Requisiti fondamentali

- Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or equivalent
- Knowledge of structural and fluid computational analysis tools
- Minimum 5 years in O&G; or energy-oriented environments
- Strong problem-solving, process improvement, and analytical abilities
- Fluency in English and Italian (verbal and written)
- Experience with Six Sigma or Green Belt and Root Cause Analysis (a plus)
- Ability to drive cultural change with open-minded technical acumen
