The position involves ensuring conformance to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as company QA system, policies, and procedures. /p h3Key Responsibilities and Duties /h3 ul liPrepare and/or review design calculations for pressure vessels and tanks. /li liPrepare and/or review technical specifications. /li liConduct inter-disciplinary delivery checking. /li liPrepare and/or review technical clarification of pressure vessel vendor bids to ensure vendor compliance with relevant standards. /li liPrepare and/or review technical reports to support order placement of air coolers, heat exchangers, storage tanks, specialist equipment, and filters to ensure vendor compliance with standards. /li liProvide project technical support and demonstrate familiarity with risk assessments, design reviews, constructability, and Hazards and Operability (HAZOPs). /li liEnsure quality and timelines for deliverables.



/li liPrepare and/or review vendor proposals and technical clarifications. /li liActively communicate with other disciplines to optimize areas of interface during design development. /li liCoordinate the design effort to support materials requisitions and ensure these documents comply with technical project specifications. /li liAnalyze disputed items from technical and contractual aspects and prepare required official responses. /li liProcess and follow up on change order requests, prepare required justification worksheets, issue change order requests to contractors, and lead the scope alignment process with contractors. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul libEducation: /b Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent; chartered status is preferable. /li libExperience: /b 10-15 years in oil and gas industry petrochemical projects. /li libKnowledge: /b Good working knowledge of relevant standards and procedures, and international standards. /li libLanguage: /b Good knowledge of English, both written and verbal. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
