Our partner is looking for a Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting based in Italy. /b /p pThis role offers the opportunity to contribute to IFRS accounting and reporting within a global, fast-moving organization operating across international markets.br/You will take ownership of technical accounting research, contract assessments, accounting memos, and key reporting activities.br/The position combines technical accounting expertise with hands-on involvement in month-end close, consolidation, and external audits.br/You will work closely with Finance leadership, Corporate Accounting, Legal, Tax, FPA, and business teams to assess complex transactions.br/Your work will help ensure accounting conclusions are well-supported, consistently applied, and aligned with applicable IFRS requirements.br/The role provides exposure to a broad range of accounting topics, including revenue, leases, impairment, provisions, consolidation, and related parties.br/It is well suited to an experienced accountant who brings strong judgment, attention to detail, and confidence working across a multinational environment. /p h3Accountabilities: /h3 ul lipReview contracts and business arrangements to determine their accounting implications, with particular focus on revenue recognition under IFRS 15 and lease accounting under IFRS 16. /p /li lipResearch IFRS guidance and prepare technical accounting memos and position papers covering revenue, leases, impairment, provisions, consolidation, related parties, and other relevant accounting topics. /p /li lipSupport month-end close activities through trial balance reviews, account analysis, and identification of unusual, complex, or judgmental items. /p /li lipPrepare and review consolidation entries,



including intercompany eliminations, reclassifications, accruals, and other group reporting adjustments. /p /li lipCoordinate with external auditors during year-end processes, including local statutory audits and group audit requirements. /p /li lipPrepare audit support materials, gather evidence, participate in walkthroughs, and help resolve auditor questions efficiently. /p /li lipWork cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Tax, FPA, and business teams to understand transactions and evaluate their accounting impact. /p /li lipSupport technical accounting and broader finance projects as required. /p /li lipMaintain and update accounting policies in line with new and evolving accounting standards. /p /li lipDevelop training and guidance materials to help finance and non-finance stakeholders understand relevant accounting requirements. /p /li lipContribute to consistent, well-documented accounting practices across the organization. /p /li /ul h3Requirements: /h3 ul lipMinimum of 5 years of relevant professional accounting experience. /p /li lipStrong knowledge of IFRS and demonstrated ability to research, interpret, and apply accounting standards. /p /li lipPractical experience assessing contracts and business arrangements for accounting implications, particularly revenue recognition and lease accounting. /p /li lipStrong technical writing skills, including experience preparing accounting memos, position papers,
