As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth within a defined customer territory or set of named accounts. You will identify and win new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships through cross-sell and up-sell activities across Agilent's portfolio. This is a highly customer-facing role, requiring strong commercial acumen, relationship management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders to deliver customer success. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliManage a defined territory and/or portfolio of named accounts to achieve and exceed sales targets. /liliIdentify, develop, and convert new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and customer engagement. /liliGrow existing customer relationships through up-selling and cross-selling of Agilent products, solutions, services, and consumables. /liliSpend the majority of your time engaging directly with customers throughout the sales cycle. /liliLead opportunities through all stages of the sales process, including opportunity development, solution development, negotiation, closing, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management. /liliCoordinate with Product Specialists, Market Specialists, Applications Engineers, Field Application Scientists, Technical Support Specialists, and other internal teams to support customer needs and sales activities. /liliDevelop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate opportunity forecasts. /liliBuild strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders. /liliEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term account growth. /liliDrive balanced business performance across multiple product lines and strategic priorities.
/liliMaintain accurate records and sales activities within CRM systems. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliMust Have Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. /lili1-2+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development, customer-facing commercial roles, or related experience. /liliStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. /liliDemonstrated ability to manage multiple customer priorities and opportunities simultaneously. /liliSelf-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering customer value. /liliFluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken. /liliValid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory. /li /ulh3Nice to Have /h3ulliExperience within life sciences, diagnostics, analytical instrumentation, laboratory environments, medical devices, or related industries. /liliExperience working in a consultative or solution-selling environment. /liliKnowledge of CRM tools and pipeline management best practices. /liliPost-graduate qualification, technical certification, or relevant professional license. /li /ulh3Additional Details /h3pThis job has a tempo pieno weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
