Overview
In this role you drive service sales processes for ABB’s Motion Service division, focusing on Drives and End Users in Central and Southern Italy. You will expand the Installed Base with upgrades and value-added solutions, while promoting the full service portfolio. You will build long-term customer relationships, develop sales plans, and coordinate with channels to achieve profitable growth. This position offers cross-functional collaboration and the chance to impact uptime, efficiency, and modernization for customers. You will be part of a mission-driven team helping customers run leaner and cleaner at scale.

Responsabilità
- Drive service sales processes and generate new opportunities within the Drives portfolio
- Penetrate the Installed Base with upgrades, retrofits, and value-added solutions
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with End User customers
- Prepare, review, and execute sales plans with recovery actions when needed
- Apply channel strategies and support pricing decisions
- Promote ABB’s Service portfolio in marketing activities and events
- Provide prompt, effective responses to customer needs and issues
Requisiti fondamentali
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial environments or automation
- Willingness to travel frequently across Central and Southern Italy
- Strong ability to establish customer relationships and partnerships
- Experience with structured sales methodologies, pipeline management, and forecasts
- Technical background (diploma or engineering degree)
- Solid knowledge of Drives and industrial automation systems
- Service sales experience (contracts, maintenance, spare parts) is a plus
- Strong customer orientation and business development mindset
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in English and Italian
